About Prince
Gorgeous Prince hopes that there’s an absolutely special home waiting for him in this new year. This 1-year-old puppy has bloomed in foster care, but he needs someone who will understand his wonderful quirks. He will fall head over heels for his person, becoming the world’s most loving Velcro dog. (He currently sleeps with his head on his foster mom’s pillow!) Because he has such a strong attachment to his person, he would do best as an only dog or with a calm, submissive dog who won’t mind if Prince soaks up all the attention.
Because Prince is a little nervous around men, he’d thrive in a female home or in a household where there’s a woman and a patient, gentle man. Prince needs someone who is home most of the time. He is housebroken and can be crated for short periods of time, but he really wants to be with his people. Prince needs a home with a fence (no apartments) and no young children.
He’s very athletic and would likely love the intensity of agility or rally. Because he is nervous, however, in some public situations, he’s more of a homebody and would not be the kind of dog for outings to parks or farmers’ markets. This striking, 30-pound border collie-Aussie just wants someone to love who will appreciate his amazing personality and sweet nature.
