About Ande
Handsome Ande just wants to be your best friend. Sweet and eager to please, this 4-year-old boy is the definition of a Velcro dog. He’ll always be at your side, looking for attention and petting. Everyone who meets Ande instantly falls in love with him. He’s friendly and gentle and very people-oriented.
Ande comes when called, knows how to sit, and seems eager to learn. He is very treat motivated, so he should be easy to teach so much more. He loves to chase balls and gets along great with his canine foster siblings. Ande rides well in the car, is crate trained and is housetrained.
Like many border collies, he’s not a fan of thunderstorms. We don’t know all of Ande’s backstory, but he seems to have had a rough time and can be very submissive. Because of that, he must go to a border collie experienced home with lots of patience and kindness. Adopter must have a fenced-in yard, no apartments, and no very young children.
