About Rio
Rio is certainly a flashy boy — with his gorgeous markings and piercing blue and brown eyes. But he’s so much more than a pretty face. This handsome young dog is loving, playful and athletic too. He loves to run and play and would probably do well at agility or another active sport. Rio has a sweet and quiet side too. He’ll put his head in your lap and sleep quietly at your feet while you’re working in the kitchen or watching TV.
Rio must be in a home with a fenced-in yard where someone is home most of the day. Although he will go into his crate, it’s not his favorite place to be, so we’d prefer he not be confined much of the day. Rio is good with female dogs but will chase cats and is too energetic for children. Rio requires an active owner with border collie experience who will keep him busy with walks, agility or other fun things. He takes probiotics every day to help with a sensitive stomach.
