Our rescue depends on our amazing volunteers.
All the dogs we rescue need a place to stay, whether they are coming from a shelter or from a home that can no longer take care of them.
We can’t save dogs unless we have fosters who are willing to open their homes to them. When we don’t have enough fosters, we have to turn away wonderful, deserving dogs because they don’t have a place to go.
Please consider helping. Fosters give dogs safe, loving homes, teaching then basic manners and helping with socialization, house training, leash walking and other important skills that will make them a great member of their future forever families.
We prefer people with border collie experience who know the wonderful quirks (and possible challenges) of the breed. PRBCR pays all veterinary expenses, while fosters are responsible for everyday basics like food, toys and treats.
We can’t do it without our volunteers … and especially our fosters. If you have questions, contact us. We need you!
