About Archie
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Handsome Archie really does have a bit of a lavender hue. This silvery-coated boy is what’s known as a lavender color in the border collie world, and isn’t it spectacular?
Two-year-old Archie is independent, exuberant, and oh-so-inquisitive. He loves to explore, always trotting around the house and the yard, investigating his world. He’s energetic and so much fun. He plays hard, so he’d love a home with another active dog that’s his size or just an on-the-go family who wants a dog along for their adventures.
Archie is great in his crate and is learning to walk on a leash. He’s a little prance-y because he’s so eager to explore.
Archie ideal new person is someone with border collie experience. He needs a fence so he can run and play. No apartments, cats or small children, please, because he’s 44 pounds of energy.
