About Ollie

Meet Ollie! Ollie is a sweet, handsome young border collie that is approximately 1-1.5 years old and weighs about 35 pounds.

We don’t know much about Ollie’s past but we think he probably didn’t have the best life before becoming part of the PRBCR family. Ollie was found tied to a guardrail in the mountains in North Carolina.

Ollie is a friendly fellow that loves his people and is very handler focused. He is working on learning some basic obedience commands as well as crate and house training. With some time, patience and positive reinforcement training this guy will be an amazing dog!

 Ollie is a typical, young border collie – high-energy, smart and very biddable. His new owner will need to be committed to daily exercise and positive reinforcement training to help him be his very best!

 Ollie’s perfect home requires a physical fence. No apartments and no electric fences. He also requires a home with herding breed experience, ready to give him lots of time, training, exercise and, of course, LOVE!

 Ollie is neutered and up to date on appropriate vaccinations. He is being fostered in Lincolnton, NC.

 If you’re ready for a fun, playful, super smart buddy, Ollie might be the guy for you!

PRBCR needs a satisfactory vet reference with records of annual exam, vaccines, heartworm test, and purchase records for your dogs monthly year round heartworm preventatives, and vetting for cats. We adopt to homes in NC, SC, and GA. The adoption fee is $300.00, and the final step of the application for adoption process is the home visit.

Adopters agree to follow positive training methods and to NOT use pinch, spray, prong, shock, choke, chain, electronic, or adverse training method collars, including invisible fence collars.
