About Daisy

Daisy is so loving and is always happy to see you.  She thrives on playing with her humans, toys, and any dog that will play. 

Daisy has a very expressive face, and she always watches the world with inquisitive eyes. Like any young border collie, she prefers to be with people, but does very well by herself. Her combination of independence and focus makes for a great adventure buddy. She is motivated by food and toys and would probably be fantastic at dog sports. 

Daisy is house-trained, is good on a leash, and does well in a crate and playpen. She comes instantly when called.  Daisy wants to make friends with every dog she meets and lives harmoniously with several border collies and small dogs.  

Daisy needs a home with a physical, fenced-in yard (no apartments). She needs an active family with Border Collie experience who understands the brains and energy of these smart dogs. She must have a home with no children.

Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue needs a satisfactory vet reference with records of the annual exams, vaccines, heartworm tests, and purchase records for your dogs monthly year round heartworm preventatives, and vetting for cats. Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue adopts foster dogs to homes in NC, SC, and GA. The adoption fee is $300.00, and the final step in the application for adoption process is the home visit.

Adopters agree to follow positive training methods and to NOT use pinch, spray, prong, shock, choke, chain, electronic, or adverse training method collars, including invisible fence collars.
