Sure, we know no dog’s perfect, but Lily comes terribly close. This classic black-and-white border collie is sweet, loving, and happy. She doesn’t bounce off the walls or require something to keep her busy every single second. She’s a very fast learner who was house trained and learned her name in just a few days. She’s figured out that her crate is a good place and sleeps there quietly at night.
Lily loves watching birds out of the window and has so much fun chasing blowing leaves on the ground. She doesn’t bother the senior dogs in her foster home and her only bad habit is stealing socks and shoes from out of the closet. But she doesn’t destroy them–it’s just a fun game!
Lily is the perfect age and size at just 30 pounds and a year old. She walks well on a leash and would be fine for a first-time border collie owner. She’s not high energy or demanding and she’s so smart.
Lily needs a physical, fenced-in yard (no apartments) and she needs a home without cats and without children 5 years old or under. She’d love a house with a window where she can watch the birds. Lily is being fostered in Gaffney, South Carolina.
