Lady

Look at those beautiful brown eyes. Lady is a lovely young border collie mix who loves her person and truly enjoys going on great adventures outside. She adores racing around the yard and exploring what’s going on in nature.

Lady came into rescue very shy and scared, but she’s much braver and happier now. She will cuddle and hug her foster mom, just wanting attention and love. She is so happy to have toys that she often carries around her ball or Frisbee. She’s great in her crate and waits patiently to be let out, without making a fuss.

Other dogs are OK, but she really isn’t all that fond of little, barky ones. In a perfect world, she’d be the only canine buddy in her new home where she wouldn’t have to share anyone or anything. Lady’s new home needs a physical, fenced-in yard (no apartments). She needs an active person with herding dog experience who is home a lot to give her the attention she deserves.

Lady is being fostered in Lincolnton, North Carolina.

Applicants must have a satisfactory vet reference which includes an annual exam, vaccines, a heartworm test, and purchase of monthly, year-round heartworm preventatives.
