Berkeley is doing well in his foster home and ready for a home of his own. Berkeley is now 5 months old and 31 pounds. He is probably a border collie mix or possibly an aussie mix. I do think he will be on the large side of typical border collies.
He has been excellent with potty training. While I will never say a 5 month old won’t have accidents, he hasn’t had any in a while. He still doesn’t love a crate and sometimes he barks. He sleeps at night in a gated area and does very well. He needs someone home more often than not and would not do well by himself all day.
Berkeley loves to run and play. He needs a fenced area. He loves to run with my dog, but he will also play ball, frisbee or just play on his own with his toys. He does play hard with my dog and if he will have a canine companion, they would need to be ok with that. Inside, he will take his chew toys to his bed. He will follow you from room to room and when tired, will lie on your feet. He is dog and cat friendly.
Berkeley rides well in the car. He was very good at the vet and loves her, but we try to go other places also such as the pet store and the bank. He is learning to walk on a leash. He does very well for his age. He likes to go see the neighbors.
