About Duncan
Duncan is a gorgeous border collie. He’s a head turner at the dog park, and you should see his regal trot as he patrols the yard.
Everything is new to Duncan. His foster mom is working diligently with him on house-training and walking on a leash. We have made great progress. He knows the commands SIT and DOWN.
Duncan easily walks into his crate (his PLACE) and naps and sleeps there without making a peep.
Duncan enjoys riding in the car, looking out the windows, and is super friendly with other dogs and humans. Duncan is an affectionate guy. He would need an active home and doggy brother or sister, as he gets along well with other energetic dogs and loves to play and run with them.
Duncan requires a fenced yard and an experienced border collie home due to his activity level. No apartments, condos, or townhouses. Duncan would not enjoy a home with cats.
Duncan could use some basic obedience classes. He loves the water and he is learning to swim. He walks well on the leash, is well-behaved indoors, and has good recall.
He requires daily physical and mental exercise to be happy. But he also enjoys chilling outside in the shade of his fenced yard.
Duncan is neutered and currently up to date on annual vaccinations and heartworm, flea, and tick medications.
This sweet guy is ready to join his forever family.
