About Beatty
This is tiny, but mighty, Beatty! Sometimes we call him Beets or Beeties. He is around 2 years old and we think he might be a Border Collie/Papillion mix. Whatever he is, he is the cutest darn thing you’ll ever meet!
He is very sweet and loving. He enjoys hanging out and loves to play with his foster sister. He can get a little scared when meeting new people so he’ll need slow and careful introductions to new friends and other dogs, but very quickly warms up and notices that nobody is here to hurt him (especially if you have treats on hand)! After he gets comfortable with you, he loves to roll over and have his belly scratched while he wiggles around on the floor.
Beatty likes to boycott the crate and occasionally wants to let you know about his protest by barking, but he accepts his fate in about 5 minutes. He also doesn’t mind cats too much, especially dog savvy cats. He has already learned to sit and lay down and is quickly learning wait and leave it!
Beatty will need a quiet, relaxed, non-apartment home with someone to snuggle with and give him some tasty treats!
