Fly

Are you looking for an agility dog, maybe herding or Frisbee is your thing? I may have the perfect dog for you.

Fly, appears to be a purebred border collie, who is smart and willing to learn. Fly is a classically marked, outgoing approx. 18-month-old border collie. He gets along well with other dogs and thinks that cats are OK too. He was found as a stray in a grocery store parking lot and found himself in a shelter in Georgia. Fly is heartworm negative, neutered, and is living with his foster family near Atlanta, Georgia.

Fly is working on crate training and is doing very well. He will rest and sleep in the crate without a problem. Fly has had no accidents in the house and I would consider him completely house trained.

Fly requires a physical fenced yard (no apartments) and a good amount of exercise, both mental and physical. Fly walks well on a lead, although he does pull a bit. I think he will improve with more practice. I have worked with him on a 20-foot long line and he will come back to you when called. Fly also rides well in the car.

Fly is looking for his forever home where he can continue to blossom.

Applicants must have a satisfactory vet reference which includes an annual exam, vaccines, a heartworm test, and purchase of monthly, year-round heartworm preventatives.
