Reasons for rehoming:
I am seeking help for Benny because my daughter wants to rehome him after having him for 10 years. She has tried finding him an adopter but has been unsuccessful. My daughter works M-F, lets him out after work and then heads back out until around 11:30. Returns, goes to bed and then work in the morning and repeat. She spends most weekends away from home and cannot take Benny with her because her partner is allergic to dogs. She has now started talking about euthanizing him she just does not have the money yet but is trying. I cannot take him in currently because I have a paralyzed dog that does not do well with other dogs. Please help me to get him out of this situation as quickly as possible. He needs a rescue/ foster family that can care for him until his forever family finds him. I am willing to transport him and do anything I can do to get him the proper care.

Benny is a 12 year old Border Collie that weighs 30 pounds. He does well with other dogs, cats and children. He very much wants to be with his human, the more time the merrier. He walks well on a leash, is house trained, wears clothes, He enjoys his toys but prefers his humans attention.
