Reasons for rehoming: I am currently helping out a friend of my daughter’s who was unable to continue caring for Pepper. While I adore her and would absolutely keep her if I could, I’m just not in the position to manage two dogs long-term. My goal is simply to find her a safe, loving home where she can thrive.
Pepper is a sweet, loving girl with a heart of gold! She is a smaller-sized pup (she was the runt of her litter) with lots of energy and an eager-to-please personality. She absolutely loves playing fetch and learning new tricks, she is very smart and picks things up quickly.
She has not shown any aggression toward people and is incredibly affectionate with everyone she meets. Pepper hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs, so I’m not sure how she would do in a multi-dog household, but she is not aggressive. She is fully house-trained but could benefit from leash training, as I’ve primarily played with her in the yard rather than taking her on walks.
Pepper would thrive in a home with a large yard where she can run and play. She can be a little skittish around loud noises but otherwise has no known medical issues. She truly just wants love, attention, and an active household where she can be part of the family.

I’m hoping to find her a home where she will be cherished and can continue to blossom.
