Blue

Meet Blue, a gorgeous blue merle puppy. He loves to jump on everything, bounding from floor to chair to couch. That’s why his foster mom calls him “mountain goat” and thinks he’d be spectacular at agility. Blue came into rescue because he has some vision and hearing impairments but that doesn’t stop him from playing and racing around and having fun with other dogs. He will need someone dedicated to work on special training, including hand signals, in order to focus all his energy.

Blue loves running around outside and will require a high fence (no apartments) because he loves to jump so much, and no small children or cats because he will herd them. He adores his canine foster siblings but can sometimes get possessive of his food and toys. Blue is a snuggler and wants to cuddle as close to his person as possible. He has the typical puppy curiosity and shenanigans, but is very sweet and loving and ready for an experienced, patient family to share his life. He’d prefer a home where someone is home most of the day.
